My Maine Memory Mailbox Continues to Deliver Delight

Hooray!  Today I have the giddy pleasure of appearing on friend and artist Kristina Wentzell’s blog in my first guest post!

Glide on over and discover why I’m in love with a certain black and white duck, who sings a haunting tune.

And while you’re there, please be sure to dally a moment to soak in Kristina’s colorful, art-filled site – it’s delightful!

Every one of your posts is a sparkling, beautiful gift! I love reading your memories of Maine, and of the lovely loons. I have mental postcards of hearing and seeing loons in Canada. Their calls are music that stirs the soul. And I have a playful squirrel in my front yard as I write this. He or she keeps diving into the grass in search of acorns. The squirrel seems pretty delighted by the bounty.

    Kristina’s paintings are gorgeous!

Thank you for the special delivery of delight!!!

Hello Jules! Thanks for popping over to say hello – I’m glad you like my loon piece, it was fun to write and even more fun taking that trip down memory lane. At a sibling reunion in Maine last October we took a field trip back to “Clementpine” (our old cabin in the woods). Talk about memories flooding back! It was such a magical time of my life – I realize I have a lot more Maine stories to share. Stay tuned!

Sending love to you my dear, xo fcf
