It’s been awhile since I’ve allowed myself a delicious snippet of time to mess around on a blank journal page. I ended up painting a rainbow swirl of colors with my tin of Prang watercolors and Inktense colored pencils. Then I added a few words with my hand-carved alphabet set:
Today I jumped into Tammy Garcia’s latest month-long creativity collaborations, the Daily Paper Prompt. Based on her popular Index Card A Day (ICAD for short) prompts, this new series entices us to create each day and make our marks.
Would you like to join me? All you need is your sense of play and any size and type of paper that pleases you. There are no rules, (yay!) only suggestions. You can share, or not.
Zip on over to Tammy’s Daisy Yellow website and have a look at her eye-popping creative universe. I suggest pouring yourself a frosty beverage (or cuppa tea if you’re somewhere chilly) and nosing your way through her many pages. It’s a goldmine of inspiration and encouragement!
And while you’re there, grab a sheet of paper and your colorful writing implements and play with the Daily Paper Prompts. Tammy created them just for you!
In Delight, (and brevity!)
